Applications for the 76CNC6V5
Production exhaust and emissions systems, truck and bus tube assemblies, HVAC and refrigeration circuits, large-diameter handrail and structural stainless, agricultural and off – highway equipment tube, marine exhaust and rails, and any multi-bend part produced in volume where the 3″ capacity and automatic part positioning pay for themselves in throughput. For prototype work at the same 3″capacity, see the semi-automatic TB80.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the 76CNC6V5 and the 65CNC3V1?
Capacity. Both are three-axis CNC automatic mandrel benders with the same control system and precision; the 76CNC6V5 handles 3″ tube (vs. 2-1/2″), 2″Schedule 40 pipe (vs. 1-1/2″), and 2″ square tube, which the 65 does not bend. If your parts fit within 2-1/2″ round tube, the 65 does the same quality work at lower investment.
What is the difference between the 76CNC6V5 and the TB80?
Both bend 3″ tube. The TB80 is semi-automatic – ideal for prototypes and small runs at a lower investment. The 76CNC6V5 is fully automatic CNC – built for repeat production where cycle time and consistency drive the economics.
Can one machine bend both tube and pipe?
Yes, with the correct tooling. Tube is measured by outside diameter, pipe by nominal size – tell us what you’re bending and we’ll quote tooling to match.
What support is available in North America?
CML USA in Davenport, Iowa provides installation support, operator training, tooling, spare parts, and factory-trained service for every Ercolina machine.
Which Mandrel Bender Is Right for You?
Ercolina offers four mandrel bending machines. The right one depends on your part size, volume, and how much of your work needs internal mandrel support:
