Calculate radius correctly each time when roll bending
A chord is a line that connects two points of a circular portion. If you have a chord(c) of a known length, the formula shown below provides a universal solution to mathematically determine the radius.
Measure the height (h) at the midpoint of the chord and make the calculations to figure the radius.
Simple measurements and math can help you see the radius without removing the work piece.
