Metalworking Machinery Sales and Technical Support Regional Manager
Job Description
Ercolina, leading manufacturer of tube, pipe and profile bending machinery, is seeking an outside sales technical representative to work hands on with existing customers to identify new target buyers to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with machinery has experience in sales and/or service that includes metal fabrication processes, fabricating machinery, industrial machinery or welding supplies. Must be capable and willing to prospect, present, demonstrate, close sales efficiently, instruct customers on the use of machinery, and assist with technical support. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain working schedule to effectively support current customers, identify and pursue sales leads, prospective new clients and move them through the sales pipeline from qualification to close stages. Service and support customers after the sale. Control and maintain work schedule. Update customer database pipeline activity in company CRM. Promote and position Ercolina product as the clear and obvious choice in our market. Willingness to travel frequently within eight state region and stay overnight as required to properly service the territory, clean driving record with valid driver’s license mandatory.
Qualifications
Some industry or product knowledge preferred in machinery sales and/or service, fabrication processes. High school diploma is required. Prefer a minimum of 2+ years in outside sales customer service experience.
Team-focused, organized, self-starter with an orientation towards service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines.
