Keeping Angle “Leg In” Square
Anyone who has to tried to bend angle iron leg in knows how difficult it is to keep it from twisting. Patented by Ercolina, simultaneous downfeed and roll movement minimize deformation. Ercolina’s CE50H3 angle roll model uses hydraulic downfeed to improve productivity, and offers an optional anti-twist correction system required for angle iron “Leg In” applications. A Universal tooling set is included with each machine – 7” O.D. Vertical or horizontal operating position is available for your convenience.
Forged roll shafts are precision ground and fitted for maximum performance and minimal deflection. Ercolina angle roll / section benders are built with a heavy duty structure and rigid components for high section modulus ratings and the reinforced engineered mainframe design is proven to outperform competitive models.
CE50H3 is a hydraulic machine with memory storage of eight (8) individual programs and unlimited passes. The CE50H3 in 220V or 480V 3ph: Bends to 2-1/2″ Sch.40 and 3″ – .095 tube.

Respect your machine ratings
Every manufacturer rates a machine to have a certain mechanical capacity. The factors that contribute to the machine’s inherent strength include: drive motor size and horsepower, construction materials and engineered section modulus.
It is important to respect these ratings to avoid damaging or possibly breaking the machine. Ignoring these facts can be costly monetarily and in production time lost.
The respective capacities are stated in terms of specific material grades and wall thicknesses. Always work within the limits of your equipment when purchasing new tooling and pursuing a new job or customer.
The owners of the machines pictured below chose to ignore the machine ratings and now need to have their machines repaired.
